Recycling has always been in my DNA. My father was a mechanic with a junk yard so cutting up metal and hauling it to the scrap yard was an on-going job. It's no wonder that I am drawn to creating art from found metal. I find giving new form to society's debris very satisfying.
Recently I have been exploring the creative possibilities of milk jug plastic. It's translucent quality is appealing. It is lightweight and moves with the slightest of air so is ideal for mobiles. It is also an abundant recyclable material that does not degrade. Keeping it out of the landfill is a good thing.

Art - it makes life worth living.
